구독자 183만명을 보유한 재테크 전문 유튜버 신사임당(본명 주언규·38)이 채널을 양도하고 일반인으로 돌아가겠다고 선언했습니다.
2022년 7월 19일 신사임당의 주PD는 공식 인스타그램을 통해 "그동안 신사임당 채널을 사랑해주셔서 감사합니다. 오늘 부로 신사임당 채널에 대한 모든 권한은 채널을 인수하신 분께 양도가 됐다"고 밝혔습니다.
이어 "그래도 7월 18일까지 출연할 수 있도록 배려해주심에 진심으로 감사의 말씀을 드립니다. 7월 19일 진행 예정이었던 생방송은 이제는 진행이 어려울 것 같습니다. 시청자 여러분도 진심으로 감사드린다"고 말했습니다.

또한 주PD는 "저의 모든 것이자 저의 정체성과 같았던 신사임당 채널을 떠나 이제 저 역시 유명 유튜버가 아닌 그냥 한 명의 일반인으로 열심히 살아가겠습니다. 왠지 인사드릴 기회가 없을 것 같아 이 채널에서 인사를 남긴다"며 "제가 갑자기 떠났다고 혹시 비난의 글이나 아쉬워하는 분들이 계시거든 이 글을 알려주시길 바란다"고 부연했습니다.
